HAPPY NEW YEAR

We are excited to ring in 2009 with Ava and our newborn son, Jonah Nathan. Jonah has been home for 6 weeks now and depsite his severe prematurity is developing like a perfectly normal, healthy baby. Ava has been a terrific big sister and has adapted to the new household with ease. Mom is performing brilliantly balancing the needs of the children, the household, and the husband. Dad is transitioning into a new role at work, which should be a good challenge in this uncertain economy.

As we celebrate a new year with the family now complete, Dad's birthday coming up, and Obama on his way to the White House... we can't help but feel optimistic about the future.
