November 12, 2004
Hi everyone. These two months have been the biggest abberation from life. I quit my job, we packed up everything we own,
Julia flew out to LA to get settled while I spent 12 days driving solo from Boston to LA. I made a vacation of it.
I was in LA 11 days before I flew back to New York, went to a friend's wedding upstate, worked on our documentary project Backpackers
while I watched and celebrated as the Sox come back from an 0-3 deficit to beat the Yankees. My pilgramage brought me through Longmeadow and on to Boston
to witness the historic championship up close. It was a time I'll cherish as long as I live.
After the World Series, I was so full of hope and joy I was convinced Kerry would pull out a victory the very next week
and all would be right with the world.
Alas, 'twas not to be.
So now we're in LA, settling in and looking for work. We got this great apartment on Beverly & Fairfax,
right in the heart of old Hollywood. I can walk to a lot of places, which makes me feel at home. I even walked to a cellphone store today! Me? A cellphone store!?!
Life is good here. It's still new and uncomfortable but we know we can make a home of it. We thank you all for your support and love in our time of transition.
Click here for tons and tons of pics from this nomadic escapade of mine. Enjoy!
Talk to you soon.
